America’s Liquor Down Band – “Join Us” Album Release
A long-time fixture on the Great Falls music scene, America's Liquor Down Band, is
ready to release its first full-length album. The greatly anticipated "Join us" album will officially
be released on Thursday, June 25th, 2020.
Although this is America's Liquor Down Band's freshman album, they are far from
rookies. Veterans of their craft, America's Liquor Down Band formed in the summer of 2008.
Specializing in a range of classic rock covers spanning from the 50s to the 90s, the band has
been performing shows in numerous states for more than a decade.
The four-piece band is fronted by vocalist and performer Layloni Ghee. The group is
driven by bassist Psychic Slim, lead guitarist Zeke Neil, and drummer/percussionist Huntr
Blakk.
The Greatest Rock and Roll
In October 2016, the band released its first four-track EP demo. The single from that
demo, called “High Speed Rock and Roll,” has received moderate radio airplay in Great
Falls, Helena, Missoula, internet stations, and elsewhere. These four originals from the demo
would later be the thing to entice Steve Keller to produce the full-length album.
The "Join Us" album includes re-works of those four songs plus six new songs: rock
anthems, a blues jam, and even a beautiful jazzy ballad. The "Join Us" album plays like
albums of old. It's one continuous story that takes you back to the sounds and feels of 80s rock.
